Brian Jensen is an in-demand studio music arranger, producer, and orchestrator.
As an independent Music Arranger / Producer, his credits include over 60 CDs for Pop, Classical, Jazz, and Contemporary Christian artists. He has worked for such organizations as Macmillan / McGraw Hill, Nu Skin International, Sundance Institute, The Waterford Institute, America’s Freedom Festival, Priddis Music, and Brigham Young University.
As an orchestrator and conductor, his credits include “Homefront” commercials for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Sundance Institute’s production of Oklahoma. Brian is currently Orchestrator and Musical Director for the Marvin Goldstein and Vanessa Joy Show.
As a composer, his credits include One Life: A Musical Story of the Prophet Joseph Smith (an original stage musical), Classroom Classics, and Novell. He helped to develop several early learning programs for The Waterford Institute, where he composed and recorded a large body of original songs and underscore music for dozens of animated music videos.
In the field of print music, he founded Music for Worship and musicforworship.net (a Utah-based publishing company for print music and recordings) in 2007; he served as president and chief editor of the company until it closed in 2020. He has over 500 Sheet Music Arrangements in print for artists and organizations such as The Waterford Institute, churchofjesuschrist.org, Sam Cardon, Kurt Bestor, Marvin Goldstein, Inspirational Music Showcase, Jackman Music Corporation, and many more.
Brian holds an Associates Degree from Ricks College (now BYU Idaho) and a Bachelors Degree in Media Composition from Brigham Young University.
While focusing his freelance music career on recording, studio production, and performing, he continues to teach private lessons in piano, music technology, songwriting/composition, and music arranging/orchestration. His newest educational endeavor is the Institute of Keyboard Bands—training young musicians to play in bands made up of only keyboard instruments.
